The most wonderful time of the year for some is the worst for others. With the rising cost of living and the inevitability of reoccurring bills, the holiday season can be rough for families who already struggle to make ends meet. With the help of generous efforts nationwide, there are plenty of reasons to be thankful this Thanksgiving.

This year, HG2 Emergency Lighting decided to give back in support of their home city Orlando, Florida. Partnering with the community in support of the 20th Annual Thanksgiving Basket Brigade of Central Florida, HG2 Emergency Lighting aimed to feed the local families in need this Thanksgiving. Setting up donation drop-offs at their three Central Florida manufacturing locations, along with an online GoFundMe, HG2 Emergency Lighting matched every donation received.

Queue the spotlight! HG2’s own Public Relations Specialist, Nadia Abed, UCF senior and pre-law major, went above and beyond the charitable call of duty. Involving her sorority Kappa Delta at the University of Central Florida, she not only raised the most monetary donations towards the cause but collected the most food donations for the event as well. When asked about what made her so passionate about this philanthropy she stated,

“I’m so passionate about philanthropy and charitable events because giving back to the community isn’t something that people should ignore. It should bring us together and make us want to better ourselves and the people around us. I love it because it makes others feel good, & I’m always willing to help.”

Whether it’s volunteering at a soup kitchen or simply donating a dollar to a cause, this time of year is all about gratitude, thanks, and giving.

Pembroke Pines, FL June 2, 2017 HG2 Emergency Lighting, premier emergency lighting manufacturer, opened new sales & service location in Pembroke Pines Florida early May 2017.

HG2 Emergency Lighting, known throughout the law enforcement, first responder and road side industries as a manufacturer of innovate emergency vehicle lighting, opened their own upfitting super facility location in South Florida after public demand from agencies created stir for a quality upfitter in the area.

The new location will be a “one stop shop for all law enforcement and fleet installation needs. Our customers will finally get the service they deserve”, as stated by Ali Bhojani, HG2’s Director of Operations and Sales.

The new facility is expected to service Broward, Dade, Monroe, Palm Beach and the surrounding southern Florida counties as demand for HG2 quality technicians and products are on the rise. The new facility will be an addition to the three locations that currently service Central Florida

With the new facility reminders of HG2 Emergency Lightings past are brought up. HG2 Emergency Lightings roots stem from their sister company, Audio Excellence, which acted as an upfitter for fleet and law enforcement for over 40 years. With the overwhelming success of HG2 Lighting’s Crossfire tag—designed specifically to frame North American-standard automotive license tags—we have adapted our patented design for fitment on motorcycle platforms.

Using similar super-bright, wide-angle elliptical optics mounted at grazing angles, the HG2 Crossfire MX will offer maximum visibility with minimal footprint—crucial to a platform limited on space.

A number of Crossfire MX tag bezel prototypes have been in service through our R&D partnership agencies, all receiving positive feedback. This feedback has allowed us to proceed with tooling and industry-standard testing for full production of the Crossfire MX.
